Larry David Helps Us Celebrate 25 Years of Songs of Love
When comedy legend Larry David lends his time to a cause, people pay attention—and we couldn’t be more honored that he helped us shine a spotlight on the healing power of music.
On Wednesday, September 29, the Songs of Love Foundation celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a virtual event called Streaming for Healing, and Larry David—co-creator of Seinfeld and creator/star of Curb Your Enthusiasm—took center screen alongside ESPN’s Adam Schefter to host an unforgettable evening.
Larry brought his trademark wit and warmth to the event, helping us raise awareness for our mission of creating personalized songs for children facing serious illness, trauma, and emotional challenges. With Larry’s support, we also debuted a brand-new “song of love” for 5-year-old Cece, a powerful reminder of what a few heartfelt lyrics and a melody can do for a child in need.
The night closed on a beautiful note with Sesame Street icon Bob McGrath performing “Rainbow Connection,” leaving viewers uplifted and inspired.
We are so grateful to Larry David and all who participated for making this celebration so meaningful. Special thanks to our Orchestra Leaders of Love, Lee Cooperman and Michelle Lund, for their incredible support.
Thanks to Larry, the spotlight is now brighter than ever on the joy, comfort, and healing Songs of Love brings to thousands of children—and counting.
