What if a song could help someone remember who they are — or at least how it feels to be themselves? Across the country, families and caregivers are searching for meaningful, human-centered tools to support seniors living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-related challenges. In response, Songs of Love Foundation has launched the first national initiative using AI-assisted, fully original, personalized songs specifically designed for memory care — in collaboration with Suno.
This groundbreaking program combines the emotional power of music therapy with modern AI technology to create custom-written, one-of-a-kind songs based on each individual’s life, memories, relationships, and preferences. Every song is crafted to be personal, familiar, and emotionally resonant — helping seniors reconnect with feelings of comfort, identity, and joy. Research has long shown that music can reach parts of the brain untouched by memory loss, and this initiative brings that science to life through personalized music, AI-assisted songwriting, and compassionate storytelling for seniors in memory care, assisted living, and at home.
As a trusted nonprofit with nearly 30 years of experience creating personalized songs at no cost to families, Songs of Love is now extending its mission to older adults through this national Memory Initiative. Families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and senior living communities are invited to learn more and request a free personalized song for a loved one. By blending music, memory, and innovation, this initiative offers a powerful reminder that even when memories fade, connection remains.
